Greetings from The Orbis School!

Free Runners Charitable Trust, in order to promote health and fitness in the society, organised major marathons in and around Pune. They are organising a run and The Orbis School is supporting this as the ‘Orbis Run’,  a great opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle and to raise funds for Infrastructural and IT requirements of an underprivileged school.

The details of the run are as follows:

• Date and Day: 13th January 2019, Sunday

• Start Point: The Orbis School, Mundhwa

• Assembly Time: 6:30 a.m.

• Warm Up/ Zumba

• Flag Off Time: 7:30 a.m.

• Cool down: 9.00 a.m.

• Closing ceremony: 9.30 a.m.

• Snacks: 9.45 a.m.

• Distances:

• Classes 6 and 7 - 2 Km

• Classes 8, 9, 10 Staff and Guests- 3 Km

• Classes 11, 12, Staff, Guests - 5 Km

• Participation fee for students and staff of the Orbis Schools: Nil

• Participation fee for the parents and guests:  Rs.150/- per person

• The Orbis Run is being organised by professionals to ensure complete safety

It may please be noted that the marathon is compulsory for the students of classes 6 to 12.

The Orbis students, under parental guidance are encouraged to contribute to the cause by maximising collection of registration fee from relatives, friends and neighbours. The Orbis Run Registration Form will be provided to each student for the same, please ensure the form is returned to the class teacher with the money collected. A select group from amongst the students and staff shall implement the handover to the selected institute.

Greetings from The Orbis School!

This is to inform you that The Annual Athletic Meet (2018-19) will be held on 12th January 2019.

Details of the event are as follows:

 Venue: SRPF Ground, Wanowrie

 Day/Date: Saturday, 12th January, 2019

 Time: 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

 Uniform: Grey track pants, house T- shirt, school shoes and socks, ID card.

 Bring along: A bag with a water bottle, tiffin box, Orbis cap, Rs 100 (optional) for snacks and

beverages.

 Bus Pick up and Drop: School buses will ply one hour later than usual in the morning for

pickup. Dispersal from SRPF ground will start at 12.30 pm. Please be at the drop points

accordingly.

 Self-Pick and Drop: Parents are requested to drop the students at the venue at 8.30 am and

pick them up at 12.30 pm.

 Please Note:

The event participation and spectatorship is limited to the students and the staff of the

Orbis School.

The schools (Orbis 1 & Orbis 2) will remain closed from Monday, 24th Dec 2018 to Wednesday, 2nd Jan 2019 on account of Winter Break. School will resume from 3rd Jan 2019 for all.
