The Orbis School Shines at NCC CATC 723 Camp 2025 with Gold and Silver Medals
The Orbis School once again reaffirmed its commitment to holistic education and all-around student development as its young cadets delivered outstanding performances at the NCC CATC 723 Camp 2025. The prestigious camp was held at the NCC Headquarters, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune, from 28th November to 7th December 2025, and witnessed participation from cadets representing schools and colleges across the region.
Among the most notable achievers was Prerna Mane of Class 9, who secured First Place and won the Gold Medal in the Firing Competition. Competing against 332 participants, Prerna demonstrated exceptional focus, precision, and composure in a highly technical and competitive event. Her remarkable achievement reflects her dedication, disciplined training, and the strong foundation nurtured through NCC activities at The Orbis School.
Adding to the school’s proud moments, Sachit Gupta of Class 9 secured Second Place and won the Silver Medal in the Communication Skills Competition. Sachit impressed the judges with his clarity of thought, confident delivery, strong articulation, and effective presentation skills. His accomplishment highlights the growing importance of communication as a key leadership skill and showcases the emphasis placed on personality development through NCC training.
The NCC CATC (Combined Annual Training Camp) is known for its structured and comprehensive training modules designed to build physical fitness, mental alertness, teamwork, discipline, and leadership qualities. Through activities such as firing practice, communication exercises, drills, and group tasks, cadets develop resilience, confidence, and the ability to face real-world challenges with determination.
At The Orbis School, participation in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) is actively encouraged as an integral part of holistic education.
