The Orbis School’s NCC Cadets Shine at CATC 2026–27 with Outstanding Performance


The NCC cadets of The Orbis School, Keshav Nagar, Pune, displayed great discipline, determination and leadership at the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 2026–27, organised by the 3 Maharashtra Air Squadron NCC. Competing against more than 400 cadets from schools and colleges across Pune, the contingent earned several awards in both individual and team events, reflecting the cadets’ commitment to excellence and overall growth.

The ten-day camp trained cadets in drills, weapons, field skills, fitness, disaster relief, leadership drills and personality development. Alongside the training, cadets took part in contests such as drill, sports, shooting, cultural shows, debates, quizzes and the Best Cadet competition.

Among the school’s achievements, Leading Flight Cadet Amogh Wadekar secured the Runner-Up Best Cadet title. The Drill Team, led by Cadet Corporal Meher Raval, earned the Runner-Up Trophy in the Drill Competition, while the Quiz Team emerged as champions by winning the Quiz Competition Trophy. The school’s Cultural Team, choreographed by Leading Flight Cadet Krisha Modi, was praised for its well-executed performance. Several other cadets also performed well in various events, adding to the team’s strong overall display.

ANO Second Officer Wilson Shinde guided the team with focused training and mentorship, with a strong emphasis on discipline, teamwork and leadership, preparing the cadets for success during the camp.

Expressing her pride, Principal Ms Farida Harianawala said:

“The achievements of NCC cadets at CATC 2026–27 show the cadets’ dedication, perseverance and strong sense of responsibility.
